Not seen on TV (by inkofscholars)
Does the Government have the right to say who lives and who dies and keep us in the dark about it? Create a whole new generation of irradiated youth with deformities inimaginable?
The truth is we’re the ones with the Weapons of Mass Destruction. Unmanned Armed Aerial Drones much?

I found this in my E-Mail just now, I thought you all should read and share:
Dear Fellow CCSF Students:
67 classes have been cut for the Spring semester of 2012. For Summer of 2012 and 2013, there has been a 60% cut in classes offered accumulatively. If no tax proposals pass, in 2012-2013 the State will cut the total funding for education by $25 million. Although this may not be the worse to come, there are actions that we, as students, can take to make a stand. This March is a calling to ALL students from ALL campuses to participate in the biggest statewide march of the year. Let Sacramento know just how we feel about their cuts to OUR education. Millions of public higher education students in California will be taking a stand against budget cuts on the 1st and 5th of March 2012 in collaboration with teachers, labor leaders and other activists. We are all in this together and it is time we show our solidarity to the State of California. We will not tolerate more cuts to education.
Join us in the fight!
HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED:
1. Log onto http://www.ccsf.edu/mim. Register to march and like us on Facebook.
2. Make a classroom presentation to all of your classes; sign up to do others on Facebook.
3. Agree to participate in one or more of the March 5th actions!

It’s not just my college, or my city, it’s also my High School that’s taking action, and I’m damn sure schools around the country are organizing for this day. If you want to know what Austerity looks like one need not only but look at Greece. Austerity as we know is only used in Europe, to diffuse the tension here we use the word “cuts”. We don’t need “cuts”, we must resist “Austerity”. If you refer to the 1990s Asian Financial Crisis, the way the big players got out of their holes was spending. They spent until the economy was functioning again, that spending put people back to work. Over in Asia, there’s massive buildup of public works, we need that here. We need Livability, Sustainability, and a Satisfactory Quality of Life.
Those who call for Austerity are the contemporary high tech and influence mafia. Economic Terrorists as Max Keiser puts it. If we cut, we let the Terrorists Win. They extract the wealth from all of us, and leave us in ruins. A good example is Tsarist Russia, or the Philippines during Ferdinand Ramos as proxy for Imelda Marcos.

I remembered going here, at Portsmouth Square as a young child. Going on all the slides and swings without a single care in the world. The place looks just as lively as I remember it back then.
